Open Source & Transparency

Last updated: 07/28/20261 min read

HungKings ships its source code openly under the AGPL-3.0 license — anyone can see exactly how the platform works.

Transparency pillarWhat it means
Open source (AGPL)The community can verify it for itself; there's no "black box."
Append-only points ledgerEvery change in points is a new entry added, never edited or deleted.
Full-game verificationResults and points are issued only from server-verified games.
Anti-cheating thresholdsThe algorithms are open; only a few sensitive operating numbers are kept private.

The only things not made public are technical secrets (keys, user data, a handful of anti-cheating parameters). Revenue doesn't depend on keeping the code hidden but on sponsorships, cosmetic items, and running tournaments — so open source is a lever for trust, not a risk.

Transparency isn't a slogan here — at HungKings, you can verify every single point you hold.
